Alessio is shelling the first cannellini beans from our vegetable garden! Cannellini beans are white with a delicate taste, and they originally from Tuscany. They are used in many Tuscan recipes, like “fagioli all’uccelletto”, “ribollita” or in the “crostoni” together with the cavolo nero toscano (black Tuscan cabbage).
